2D & 3D Art

This page features my 2D and 3D art assets. I learnt to make these as part of game design. I mostly use Photoshop and Blender to create them.

2D Art Asset

I used Photoshop to create all my 2D art assets. I learnt to make these assets for games by picking up new skills in my lessons such as colour theory, animation and design principles (layout and hierarchy).

Game Menu Screen

I was tasked to create a menu screen for a game called, "Solar Core". I created a parallax animation and added UI buttons. I desgined the assets on Photoshop and animated it on After Effects.

Board and Card Game Design

These were my contributions for a group project for this module. My team designed a collborative RPG board game about a municipal issue, Cleanliness of Common Areas such as void decks. All of these were designed on Adobe Illustrator. I designed the double-sided cards and the rule book.

3D Art Asset

Lesson practices - I learnt many techniques and tools like mirror, bevel and manipulating scale and size to model objects. UV unwrapping allowed me too add textures to my models, giving a more realistic look. I also learnt animation to give personality to the models. All of these were done in Blender.

Hawker Centre Model

I modeled a hawker centre scene to focus on a sustainability issue, food waste. I animated a man throwing away his unfinished food and returning his plate in the return tray area. The hawker centre is crowded because it is during lunch hour.
